Just like you, we're taking everything day by day. This is your best resource for all of the updates, information and news about what's happened with Lush as we all navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. Whether our stores are open or closed, how long orders take to arrive and what we're doing to help the community around us...the answers to all of these will be found below. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We're all in this together.
Store safety
At the moment, all Lush retail locations are open. Some stores are able to offer contactless pickup options, which let you collect your order safely in-person. Others allow a limited number of customers inside at a time. We also offer the ability to book a virtual consultation with a member of Lush staff from the comfort of your own home. We want to make sure that we have options available for your convenience, and for our collective safety.
Employee safety
The health and security of our employees is of the utmost importance to us. That's why we've worked hard to increase safety measures and special precautions for hygiene and social distancing in our workplaces. This includes creating a safe environment for staff to self-report their own requirements as they develop, strict handwashing and sanitizing protocols and personal protective equipment like face coverings and gloves. We are also making sure that the workspace itself is regularly cleaned three times per shift—particularly the “high touch areas” like work surfaces and picking trays. Community support
We believe in mutual aid—not acts of charity. Limiting the spread of coronavirus is paramount at this time, and we are doing what we can to ensure that everyone can follow the recommended health guidelines. This includes providing scent-free soap and other product donations for frontline workers in essential services. We have also sent masks and gloves to the BC First Nations Health Authority in British Columbia. Our manufacturing facility in Toronto has sent their masks and gloves to animal shelters, rehabilitation programs and protection centers. Feel free to read our articles for more information.
